ADM will display its functional ingredient portfolio and end-to-end formulation expertise to support manufacturers creating supplements, foods, and beverages to address consumers’ health goals. The company will highlight its gut microbiome supporting solutions, and ability to support emerging consumer segments, such as those taking anti-obesity medications (AOMs).
Experts will be on hand to discuss how the company’s library of health and wellness solutions, plant-based ingredients, botanical extracts, sweeteners, flavors, and colors derived from natural sources can help create next-generation products.
Sleep, Stress, and Mood
ADM will discuss soon-to-be-published consumer insights detailing connections consumers are making between sleep quality, stress, and mood.
Foods and supplements targeting these benefits can utilize the company’s recently-launched Lactobacillus gasseri CP2305 postbiotic, as well as its botanical extracts portfolio.
GLP-1
Consumers taking AOMs, like GLP-1 receptor agonists, have unique wellness needs and changing taste preferences.
ADM solutions address both ends of the spectrum, including a protein- and biotic-packed beverage concept to address muscle and digestive health concerns, and prebiotic fiber to assist with satiety.
Pre-, Pro-, and Postbiotics
Biotics are proving to be beneficial in emerging areas such as women’s health, skin health, and muscle health, and are gaining traction for their well-known benefits to metabolism, digestion, and gut health. ADM will showcase their biotic formulation capabilities in concepts such as biotic chews and fizzy “tribiotic” sodas.
Divya Mohan, director of CD&D for global health and wellness, will be presenting at the event, in a session titled “Postbiotics unlocked – the next frontier in functional food and beverage benefits,” on Wednesday, Oct. 29 on the Future of Food and Beverage Stage (Booth 2409, Bayside F, Level 1).
